The Big Bang Theory has enthralled millions of viewers for just over 12 years on CBS.
While fans have struggled to come to terms with the impending loss of their favourite sitcom, the cast themselves have been becoming emotional as well.
Kaley Cuoco, who plays Penny in the show, has been pretty vocal on her social media accounts about documenting the final episodes during filming.
And this week she has posted an image from the last ever script of the show.
Kaley posted an image of the script which read: “End of series” – presumably just after the final words or actions have been carried out.

With the final scripts dealt, and filming of the final episode apparently underway, fans have almost seen all of The Big Bang Theory content they are going to get.
Fans of the show – and of Kaley – began commenting on her image to express how upset they are about the final episodes to come.
One wrote: “OMG i’m so sad, i love watching the program.”
Another said: “I am not prepared to cry as hard as I will.”
With a third saying: “I’m so sorry that this day has come!
“You’ve grown as an amazing actress and person. We all have seen your growth! I can’t wait to watch you grow more embrace the moment.”
Although Kaley is currently receiving a lot of support from her fans, she enraged them earlier with a snub towards Sheldon Cooper (played by Jim Parsons).
In another Instagram post from Kaley, she showed off her makeup and wardrobe team on the set of The Big Bang Theory.
In the image Kaley can be seen sitting with her team on Sheldon’s “spot” in his apartment.
And fans were simply not happy about it, as one viewer commented on her post saying: “How dare you sit in Sheldon’s spot, lady?”
Another echoed: “Great job Ladies but no one will tell sheldon that Mary sat on his Spot…”
With a third exclaiming: “She’s sat on Sheldons spot!!!”
Luckily for Kaley, the show’s final episodes will air in the coming weeks, sparing her from Sheldon’s wrath.
The Big Bang Theory airs Thursdays on CBS and in the UK on E4.
