Games with Gold May 2019 news as Microsoft launch new Xbox One game deals

The official Xbox One roster for Games with Gold May 2019 has yet to be revealed but could be announced any time.

From how Microsoft has dealt with reveals this year, it seems likely that fans will have to wait until the last week in April.

That would mean an announcement being made on April 29, which is now less than a week away.

Unfortunately for us, Microsoft doesn’t provide any clues or hints before their big reveal, so unless something leaks beforehand, we will have to wait for the news from Xbox’s Larry Hryb.

While the tech giant doesn’t give much away about Games with Gold, they do provide monthly updates regarding Deals with Gold.

This is a lineup of games for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 which see discounts and price drops for a limited amount of time.

The latest discounts just went live and will be available to purchase until next week, April 29.

Highlights from this week’s Deals with Gold includes Portal Knights, Railway Empire and The Book of Unwritten Tales 2.

Xbox Live Gold subscribers also have a really short amount of time to check out Microsoft Spring Sale on Xbox One.

This is set to end later today, around 10am, BST, in the UK, so there isn’t much time left.

Additionally, Xbox Live Gold members also receive up to 10% more in savings on top of existing Spring Sale game deals.

It should be noted that Spring Sale deals are available on console, online at Microsoft Store and Xbox.com, as well as Microsoft Store retail locations.

And if none of the new deals on Xbox One games interest you, there’s also the option of downloading the current Games with Gold titles.

As of right now, fans can download The Technomancer and Outcast: Second Contact on Xbox One.

Xbox 360 games available via Backwards Compatibility includes Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2, which is available until April 30.

For those that have never used it before, Games with Gold is available to all Xbox Live Gold members and can be redeemed from the Gold widget on the Xbox One home screen.

When you select a game, it’ll be stored in your account and ready for download when you sign in to your console.

It should also be noted that new Games with Gold titles become available on the first and the sixteenth day of every month.
