The Flash season 5 spoilers: Killer Frost star teases HUGE transformation

WARNING: This article contains spoilers from The Flash season five, episode 18.

The star, who also plays Caitlin Snow, directed the latest The Flash episode entitled Godspeed, but now she wants more from her character Killer Frost.

Part of being a hero is being able to wear a hero’s suit, and director Danielle has decided that Killer Frost needs a new one in The CW series.

She revealed to Entertainment Weekly that she is ready for a new suit, which may take the character to all new levels of heroism.

She said: “I want a new suit. The Season four suit was different than the Season three suit and I want a new suit, absolutely. Killer Frost is a little bit like Vibe in that she, and like most of the superheroes, that she has to go somewhere to put her suit on, Flash has to put his suit on.

“So, I’m excited to see what her suit looks like whenever she gets it.”

She is hinting to producers she needs a new suit to allow her character to push on.

She made her debut in season two, but it was not until season three that fans discovered who she really is.

Her Caitlin Snow character transforms in Killer Frost and it was season three that fans saw her develop this persona and develop cyrokinetic abilities.

Season four saw her lose the Killer Frost persona, even though she gained a new suit in the season.

In season five so far she has regained her Killer Frost persona and has found out who she acquired the persona.

Seen as she got a new suit in season four when Caitlin lost her ability to transform into the Killer Frost persona, it seems odd she has not gained a new one now she has the persona back.

This is especially because season five has seen her focus more on the persona and not looking for love as she has done in previous seasons.

The actress also revealed: “I feel like the relationship she’s been focused on this year is her relationship with Killer Frost so that’s sort of her relationship with herself, so I don’t know if there’s romance for her this season, but maybe next year,”

Meanwhile, her directorial debut saw the introduction of the villain Godspeed in scenes that have been teased for weeks and ever since the official teaser photos were released.

He has the power of separating speedsters from their speed force and potentially killing them.

This could see a growing threat to Barry Allen (played by Grant Gustin), who may not possess the strength of qualities Godspeed does.

The character was taken directly from the DC Rebirth comics, and he will be a force to be reckoned with.

He wears a white costume with gold lightning bolts and trimmings, which is another reason for Killer Frost to be jealous of him.

Fans will have to wait to find out what impact this deadly villain will have on their favourites.

The Flash season five returns next Tuesday on The CW.
