The first wife of the US President has said her daughter Ivanka likes the First Lady because she didn’t break up their marriage. She referenced Trump’s second wife, Marla Maples who he reportedly had an affair with. However, she refused to say her name.
Ivana told The Atlantic: “She likes Melania fine, because she didn’t cause me to break up the marriage like the other one.
“I don’t even want to pronounce her name.”
The mother’s account follow a source telling The Atlantic reporter the pair are “mutually respectful” but definitely not “affectionate” towards each other.
There have been reports the pair had a “complicated relationship” according to The New York Times.

The paper reported the two clashed in office over the handling of their public profiles.
But Stephanie Grisham, a spokeswoman for the first lady, added: “They’ve always shared a close relationship and still do today.”
White House officials also said the reports were false.
In the interview, Trump told writer Elania Plott he believes Ivanka could become President.
He said: If she ever wanted to run for president, I think she’d be very, very hard to beat.
“I even thought of Ivanka for the World Bank. She would’ve been great at that because she’s very good with numbers.”
Ivanka is a senior political adviser to her father.
She was previously a businesswoman and New York socialite.
