Galaxy Note 9 and the Galaxy Note 8 share much in common; both have a similar build, a display over 6-inches and a dual-camera system on their rear.
The Note 8 is the older of the two products and therefore comes with a processor that is not quite as fast as that offered by the Note 9.
Moreover, the 2017 device also comes without Bluetooth support for its signature S Pen, meaning owners cannot control functions with it such as the camera shutter and music playback like the Note 9 is able to.
Although the Note 8 and Note 9 released with Android Nougat and Oreo pre-installed respectively, it is worth noting both have now been updated to Android 9 Pie with Samsung’s own One UI skin running on top of it.
One UI is easily the best skin Samsung has ever created; the interface tactically places items within native apps towards the middle and bottom of the user’s display to make navigating with one hand on larger devices easier overall.

Although Samsung has most recently released its futuristic Galaxy S10 lineup of devices, both the Note 8 and Note 9 remain two of the best Android phones around.
