The actress, 26, who plays Sophie Webster in the ITV drama, is in a relationship with footballer Kean Bryan, 22. She told OK! Magazine: “I’ve said to Kean that I hope our child is a show off, I want it to be a performer like me. “I’ve been playing songs to the bump and sometimes I sit and cry about how much I love my baby!
“I’ve always wanted to be a mum, so I’m really excited.”
The mum-to-be is drawing parenting inspiration from her own mother, Nicola Anderton.
Brooke said: “My mum had me when she was 24 and we have a really close relationship so I’m hoping that will happen for me.
“If I’m half the mother my mum is then I’ll be happy.”
Brooke and Sheffield United midfielder Kean have been together for three years but are in no rush to tie the knot.
Brooke said: “I’d love to get married, Kean and I speak about it, but we are concentrating on the baby for the foreseeable.”
