Mike Thalassitis’s Love Island co-stars were out in force today to pay their respects to the reality star who died last month at the age of 26.
Mike was found hanged in a woodland area near his home on March 16.
Amber Davies, 22, who appeared with Mike in season 3 of the ITV2 dating show, was pictured arriving at his North London funeral, which took place at the Christ Church in Southgate earlier today.
The 2017 Love Island winner, who is currently starring in the West End production of 9 to 5: The Musical alongside Louise Redknapp, 44, was seen in a respectful all-black ensemble with a leather jacket and pointed boots as she made her way along the path to the church.
The death of the reality star shocked his co-stars who took to social media following the news to pay tribute to him.
Amber wrote on her Twitter account, which has 375,000 followers: “I am in utter shock. @MikeThalassitis you were one of the most genuine guy! I just can’t believe this! You’ll be missed so much you have no idea.”(sic)
Camilla Thurlow, 29, and her boyfriend Jamie Jewitt, 28, who met on the 2017 series of the show, held hands as they made their way to the funeral today.
The bomb-disposal expert wrapped a black shawl around her shoulders while her model beau was seen in a pinstriped suit with a grey jumper.
Love Island stars Montana Brown, 23, Alexandra Cane, 27, Ellie Brown, 21, and Samira Mighty, 22, as well as the show’s presenter Caroline Flack, 39, were all pictured arriving to say goodbye to Mike.
