Gordon Ramsay baby: Chef announces his wife Tana gives birth to fifth child

Gordon Ramsay, 52, took to his Instagram account and in view of his 6.2 million followers he wrote: “After three BAFTAs and one Emmy… finally we have won an Oscar, please welcome Oscar James Ramsay, who touched down at 12:58 today for some lunch!” The couple already share three children together – Megan 21, Matilda, 17 and twins Jack and Holly, 19. In the heartwarming snap the couple can be seen beaming at the camera as they cradle their newborn named Oscar James in their arms. Celebrity pals rushed to congratulate the couple on their new baby boy.

 

EastEnders actress Patsy Palmer said: “Wow guys that’s amazing many congratulations to you all.”

Dancing On Ice judge and Diversity dancer Ashley Banjo said: “The best feeling ever… Congrats guys.”

Spice Girl Emma Bunton commented: “Amazing news, congratulations to you all.”

The Michelin star chef Gordon previously announced the news his wife Tana, 44, was pregnant in a sweet Instagram video which he shared on New Year’s Day.

In the video alongside his children, the TV personality wished everyone a Happy New Year.

The star then panned the camera onto his wife of 23 years, Tana, and said: “Happy New Year because, guess what…”

She then lifted her sequinned top up to reveal a huge baby bump.

“We’ve got another one coming!” he exclaimed.

Gordon then shouted out: “Oh my lord, oh no!”

The star captioned the post: “Exciting news! Happy new year from all the Ramsays.”

In 2016, Tana suffered a miscarriage at five months pregnant.

The chef has been open about the devastating time the couple faced and spoke in a candid interview to the Daily Mail’s Weekend magazine about their experience.

He told the publication: ”We were all there at the Portland Hospital and it was awful.

“We were devastated, but thankfully we’re through the worst of it now.”

He added: “We’d been so excited and proud… and then there was this awful shock.

“Losing the baby brought us all so much closer. The support we’ve had has been unbelievable.”
