A Place In The Sun presenter Jasmine Harman addresses Brexit 'It's the only way forward’

Yesterday Prime Minister Theresa May, 62, and Jeremy Corbyn, 69, met to discuss a way forward and put the plan to a vote before 10 April. The UK has until 12 April to propose a plan to the EU. The Labour leader admitted the pair’s meeting was “useful, but inconclusive” and took to Twitter to give further details. In view of his 1.94 million followers, he wrote: “In my meeting with Theresa May I put forward Labour’s alternative plan and raised the option of a public vote to prevent No Deal or leaving on a bad deal. “There wasn’t as much change in her position as I expected but we’ll have further discussions tomorrow.”

A Place In The Sun presenter Jasmine Harman, 43, shared her thoughts on the situation, insisting a second referendum would be “the only way forward”.

She replied: “I hope you will support a 2nd referendum as the public was not accurately informed 1st time around.

“We have not had a proper say yet. It is the only way forward.”

Many of her 29,000 followers flocked her post to share their thoughts.

One user wrote: “I’m sure we had a say and voted to leave.”

A second commented: “Absolutely Jasmine. It is truly the only way forward.”

Another asked: “You’re planning to switch your vote?”

Last month, Jasmine told Express.co.uk how Brexit could potentially effect property buying overseas.

The property expert admitted Article 50 could have an effect on buying a new home abroad, but insisted Brits won’t let them put then off.

She revealed: “I’m sure it [Brexit] will [effect property buying].

“It’s really interesting seeing people’s approach to Brexit, obviously no one knows what’s going to happen but moving abroad or having a place overseas means so much to people, they won’t let a thing like Brexit stand in their way.”

She added: “I’m sure there will be some changes but I don’t feel it’s likely that people won’t be able to buy a property in Europe anymore.

“A Place In The Sun… we have done shows in different countries such as Australia, the Caribbean and Costa Rica and Thailand.

“They’ve all got their different laws about what foreigners have to do in order to buy.

“Worse case scenario… they’ll be some other rules or some other fees or something like that.”

A Place In The Sun airs weekdays from 3pm on Channel 4.
