Gemma Atkinson’s Strictly Come Dancing boyfriend Gorka Marquez, 28, took to his Instagram stories to share a hilarious snap of a couple with cones over their heads as they appeared to bump heads in the middle of an empty road. The image caption read: “When you meet someone as weird as you…” In view of his 343,000 Instagram followers, he added the following caption to the post: “@glouiseatkinson I think I found it,” followed by a crying face emoji and a kiss. The loved-up couple first met on the BBC series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2017 and confirmed their romance the following year in a heartwarming post on Instagram.
Since then, the pair’s family are beginning to expand after they both confirmed they were expecting a baby in February.
The Radio Hits DJ has recently opened up on whether the couple plan to marry amid engagement rumours.
The former Emmerdale actress told Express.co.uk: “I think if something’s not broke you don’t need to fix it. We live together and that’s enough for now.“
She continued: “But I don’t think either of us are bothered about getting married to be honest. It’s not in the plans.”
Meanwhile, the couple recently enjoyed a mini break to the sunny isles of Tenerife and took the opportunity to share some snaps of their getaway.
Gorka uploaded three photos of himself topless, as he lounged by the pool in the sunny climates.
The Strictly Come Dancing star captioned the post: “I think we brought the sun back with us. If only we had a swimming pool…”
While some fans offered suggestions for an alternative to a swimming pool, others seemingly appeared to appreciate the photos.
One person suggested: “Next year you can get a little baby paddling pool, although our dog used to burst it.”
Another person commented: “You look amazing Gorka.”
While a third person added: “You both look great,nice break before baby arrives,how excited you both must be,welcoming a baby into the world is the most amazing thing ever. Cant wait to hear when baby has arrived,good luck to you both.”(sic)
Gemma also shared a snap of herself emerging out of the pool as she showcased her growing baby bump.
Earlier this month, it was confirmed Gorka will be returning to Strictly Come Dancing 2019.
He announced his return on Twitter and said in view of his 82,200 followers: “Dancing into my 4th series and couldn’t be more excited and grateful to be part of it!
“Let’s do it @bbcstrictly #bestshow #strictly19.”
Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One later this year.
