PARIS (Reuters) – Shares in Korian slumped on Monday following the deaths of five people as a result of suspected food poisoning at a care home in France run by the company.
Police said the five elderly residents were being cared for at the “Cheneraie” home in southern France, run by the company Omega which Korian bought earlier this year.
Korian’s shares were down 7 percent by 0915 GMT.
