I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star Fleur East, 31, “said yes immediately” when her partner Marcel Badiane-Robin, 30, got down on one knee during a romantic trip to Japan. Spilling all, she told Hello! Magazine: “How Marcel did everything was just wonderful. “We’re in a really traditional Japanese hotel and there were petals on the bed and champagne. “He said: ‘Fleur East, will you be my wife?’
“I couldn’t believe it. The ring is so beautiful and yellow is my favourite colour.”
Fleur admitted her and Marcel often discussed the topic of marriage during their nine-year relationship.
They are now planning to tie the knot abroad as soon as possible.
And the reality star added she already has plans to invite her fellow I’m A Celebrity stars, including winner Harry Redknapp and runner-up Emily Atack.
The couple are believed to have met when they both worked in the same nightclub.
Back in 2016, Fleur revealed she was ready to settle down with her beau.
She told The Mirror: “We’ve got no plans to marry at the moment but we’ll see how it goes.
“If he asked me I wouldn’t say no, definitely not. I’d say yes.”
Fleur tends to keep her love life out of the spotlight, having no pictures of the pair on her social media.
The star recently gave an insight into her trip to Japan with her 899,000 Instagram followers.
The Sax singer recently shared a snap of her posing on a bed adorned in rose petals while performing Japan’s greeting pose.
She also posed in front of idyllic scenery in one of Tokyo’s vibrant streets.
Sporting a casual look of denim jacket and leggings, Fleur smiled for the camera.
She commented: “Tokyo stylin’! Japan has always been on my bucket list and I’m so thankful that I’ve been able to visit this incredible place!(sic)
“Arigatou! Which countries are on your bucket list? #tokyo.”
