The Chase aired on ITV this evening, and the popular quiz show saw Bradley Walsh welcome four new players.
Opening tonight’s show was a professional athlete, Greg, and it seemed as though many viewers took quite shine to the 28-year old.
It turned out he competed in the 2018 Winter Olympics as part of the United Kingdom’s Bobsleigh team.
He revealed he was on the show to try and get some funding for the Bobsleigh team, and he ended up getting £5,000 in his cash builder.
However, the Olympian was caught by tonight’s chaser, Paul Sinha, and viewers weren’t very happy about it.
Many of them ended up taking to Twitter to demand the contestant be brought back despite having been caught.
One viewer pleaded: “Can we swap Jon for Greg to come back please?”
Another viewer added: “Can we get Greg back, please?”
A third viewer commented: “Gutted gorgeous Greg went!”
Commenting on Greg’s appearance, one viewer wrote: “Greg’s gone and so has half of the audience, only watching for him.”
Both Moira and Anne were answering questions incorrectly during their head-to-head, and Bradley seemingly had had enough of both player’s poor run and joked: “Can someone do us a favour and get one right.”
“I’m going to have to shave in a minute,” he added.
Making matters worse, it was then revealed that Moira had answered the question incorrectly.
“What is happening?” Bradley exclaimed before turning to Anne and warning: “You better get this right.”
The Chase airs weekday evenings at 5pm on ITV.
