Sadio Mane’s message to Kalidou Koulibaly
Sadio Mane made his feelings known towards a group of Senegalese Manchester United fans after national team training.
The in-form attacker has joined up with his international team-mates as Senegal take on Madagascar in the final game of their African Cup of Nations qualifying phase on Friday.
Mane was in opening training in the build-up to that match – but noticed a group of United fans in the stands at Stade Lat Dior in Thies.
The group were holding a banner imploring Senegal centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly to leave Napoli to join United.
And the Reds ace approached to let them know his opinions on Koulibaly moving to Old Trafford, giving the contingent a thumbs down with a cheeky grin and then wagging his finger.
Liverpool ‘serious’ about Paulo Dybala
Liverpool are ‘serious’ about signing Juventus forward Paulo Dybala.
That’s according to Italian website Tuttomercatoweb, who claim Jurgen Klopp’s side could make a formal approach in the coming weeks.
Dybala, 25, is a popular figure in Turin and has captained the side on a few occasions this campaign.
However, it’s been claimed that Dybala is concerned about Inter’s competitiveness in Serie A and could look for a fresh challenge this summer.
Sadio Mane to Real Madrid?
Liverpool should not allow forward Sadio Mane to join Real Madrid because they need him to continue “building something special”.
That’s the belief of ESPN FC pundit Alejandro Moreno.
The Reds forward has been linked with a move to the Spanish heavyweights by French outlet L’Equipe.
“He’s becoming an incredibly important piece to Liverpool,” he said on ESPN FC. “Where Mohamed Salah has struggled lately, he has been the guy.
“When Roberto Firmino has been injured, he’s been the guy. He seems to be the more consistent of the three this season and certainly lately.
“If you’re Liverpool, you don’t want any part of letting Mane go because I think you’re building something special and you continue to build upon that with players like Sadio Mane.
“I don’t think it’s in Liverpool’s best interests for Mane to leave.”
Ben Chilwell to Liverpool
Liverpool are set to rival Manchester City for Leicester full-back Ben Chilwell.
Chilwell, 22, has won five England caps since making his debut in September and his exploits haven’t gone unnoticed.
Pep Guardiola’s side are known to be monitoring the Leicester star as cover for Benjamin Mendy.
Now, Calciomercato claim Jurgen Klopp has identified Chilwell as a potential signing to provide competition for first-choice left-back Andrew Robertson.
