Melania Trump news: First Lady makes unusual move as she rewears £3,200 pink suit

  • Melania Trump chaired a meeting at the White House today, to discuss youth programmes with cabinet secretaries.
  • The former fashion model is currently promoting her Be Best youth movement.
  • It came shortly after Donald Trump took to Twitter to express his anger about the closure of the Lordstown Ohio General Motors plant.
  • Melania had stood by her husband’s side only hours earlier as they stepped out at St. Johns Episcopal church in Washing

Melania Trump is promoting the campaign titled Be Best, which focuses on well-being for youth, and advocating against cyberbullying and drug use. Today, the 48-year-old hosted the meeting in order to review youth programmes at various government departments and agencies. According to the White House, it was held with the aim to build upon and improve youth programmes which align with the First Lady’s initiative. Melania, who first made her name as a fashion model, exuded style at the event.

She sported a pale pink suit, which featured a longline blazer.

The double-breasted jacket itself, which she wore unfastened, had three buttons on either side.

Melania teamed it with a white long-sleeved jumper.

It seems that the pastel pink ensemble is by Emilio Pucci.

The suit is thought to cost $4,220, which previously would have cost roughly £2,978, but now works out at around £3,192.

It’s not the first time the First Lady has opted for this particular look.

Yesterday, Melania attended a church service with her husband Donald Trump, who she married in 2005.

She sported a white double-breasted coat.

It had scalloped detailing at the collar and hem, as well as beside two pockets.

The mother-of-one to Barron Trump teamed it with a pair of killer nude high heels.

She and Donald were pictured at St. Johns Episcopal church in Washington.
