Aladdin TRAILER: Fans FINALLY excited for Disney remake after new preview 'That's better!'

With Will Smith as the Genie, the movie had its first full promo debut on US TV this morning, courtesy of Good Morning America. This upcoming live-action adaptation, directed by Guy Ritchie, has already been much discussed courtesy of first-look images and teaser clips. But what do you make of the full trailer? Watch above.

This latest preview gives not only a greater look at Smith’s Genie, but it also reveals A Whole New World – one of Disney’s most iconic ever songs.

Here it is sung by Mena Massoud as Aladdin and Naomi Scott as Princess Jasmine – and it could be one of the reasons why this trailer seems to have finally bolstered fan anticipation, after previous reluctance and division.

“It looks better to be honest,” reacted one fan on Twitter.

Another echoed: “Okay okay okay I can breathe now. It looks better.”

“You know what I’m actually pretty excited now,” remarked a third.

Elsewhere we can glimpse more of Marwan Kenzari as Jafar, while pet monkey Abu is also seen getting in on the fun.

The cast additionally includes Navid Negahban as The Sultan, Numan Acar as Hakim and Robby Haynes as Razoul.

Frank Welker, meanwhile, returns to voice the Cave of Wonders. He had played that part as well as Abu’s voice in the 1992 original.
