The 2019 Cheltenham Festival kicks off on Tuesday 12 March at the famous racecourse.
The week leads up to the main event – the Gold Cup – which is all set to be a huge spectacle.
When is the Gold Cup?
Friday at Cheltenham is known as Gold Cup day and features seven races including the showpiece of the Festival.
The Gold Cup race – this year known as the Magners Cheltenham Gold Cup – takes place at 3.30pm on Friday afternoon.
The winner will pocket a stunning £625,000.
Who is the best Gold Cup tip?
Native River won it last year and is favourite again this time out at around the 4/1 mark.
Colin Tizzard’s horse can become the first since Best Mate to make it back-to back Gold Cup victories.
But the field is stacked with the likes of Might Bite, Thistlecrack and Bellshill all capable of causing an upset.
Presenting Percy is second favourite while Clan Des Obeaux and Kemboy are in the discussion.
