Homes Under The Hammer star Lucy Alexander FINALLY addresses Martin Roberts news

Yesterday, Lucy Alexander, 48, teased fans with a cryptic post about a reunion with Martin Roberts, 55, and now the property expert has revealed they are working on a new TV show together called Crafts. She shared a picture of the pair to her Instagram page, with the caption: “Back with the Ex… @martinrobertstv & @rtrptv tv having fun doing a new show #crafts.” The TV star also shared the same snap to her story with the caption: “TV hubby back together again.” Lucy then gave her 31,000 Instagram fans an insight into their time together in the studio.

She said to the camera: “There’s somebody very special I would like you to meet…”

Lucy then panned the camera round to Martin, who said: “Hello… it is so nice to be with my screen wife.”

She then turned to him and said: “Is it nice to see me?,” to which he replied: “It is absolutely magical darling.”

Many of Lucy’s fans flocked to her page to comment on the pair’s TV reunion.

One user commented: “Are we going to see you both on a new series of Homes Under the Hammer – please.”

A second added: “Ahhh – you got the band back together! x.”

A third penned: “Awww nice seeing you two back together love homes under the hammer with you both, dream team.”

Details of the pair’s new show are currently undisclosed, however earlier this week Lucy revealed the TV duo will be going head-to-head.

She shared a throwback picture of the pair with the caption: “Meeting with my ole TV husband to go head to head.”

A post on the show production’s Instagram page also reads: “And, it’s a wrap! Fantastic shoot, amazing team, celebs & judges!!

“Can’t wait to see the results on our screens. Well done everyone #crafts #channel4 #handmade #handmadebritain.”

Lucy and Martin appeared together on Homes Under The Hammer until 2016, when Lucy left after 13 years.

She previously claimed leaving Martin and the show felt like a “divorce”.

The presenter told Express.co.uk: “Of course he misses me! He said it was like going through a divorce when I left.”

Lucy also said she is open to return to the show, despite being replaced by Martel Maxwell in 2017.

She added: “I would never say never. Let’s see what happens in the future. I would be lying if I said I didn’t miss it.

“It was a lot of hard work for a lot of years.”

Homes Under The Hammer airs weekdays from 10am on BBC One.
