Maisie Williams: Game of Thrones’ Arya Stark actress reacts as season 8 trailer drops

The Game of Thrones season eight trailer teases the final battle against the White Walkers in an extremely highly-anticipated finale.

After the video was released, Maisie Williams, 22, reacted and shared her thoughts on Twitter.

The British actress retweeted the trailer from Game of Thrones’ youtube and revealed she was crying.

She said: “B***H AM F*****G CRYING OMH MY GOD SO EXCITE D,”(sic) alongside crying emojis.

In another post, she simply quoted the video and wrote: “Wig.”

According to urban dictionary, the word means “something or crazy just happened that made you so shocked, your wig flew off”.

In the trailer, Maisie’s character, Arya Stark, can be seen frantically running away from something with blood on her face.

She can be seen rushing through the halls of Winterfell with horror in her eyes.

The Stark sibling can be heard saying: “I know death. He’s got many faces. I look forward to seeing this one.”

Fans are now worried for Arya with many fearing she is being chased and will die in the final season.

One person said on Twitter: “I’m not yet ready!!! PLEASE SURVIVE ARYA STARK!!!”

Another said: “I’M STILL SHAKING THEY BETTER NOT TOUCH ARYA I SWEAR.”

A third fan added: “I SWEAR IF ARYA DIES I WILL CUT OFF MY PINKY AND FEED IT TO MY CAT WE CANT LOSE ARYA.”

Elsewhere, other Game of Thrones stars also expressed their thoughts on the trailer.

Liam Cunningham, who plays Ser Davos Seaworth in the HBO series, said: “Mic drop! #DavosSeaworth.”

Samweell Tarly actor, John Bradley, commented alongside the video: “You asked for it.”

Meanwhile, Maisie recently spoke out about life after Game of Thrones and spilled on the “worst thing” about it.

The British actress told The Courier: “I will miss people being like, ‘Are you Arya Stark?’ because she’s such a cool character and people really freak out about it and that’s so exciting.

The worst thing will be people going, ‘Did you used to be on that show?’” she laughed. “Because that’s gonna suck.”

Maisie continued: “That will suck so bad. Because when I started you know like Breaking Bad was the big thing and if you saw Bryan Cranston now you’d be like ‘oh you used to do that show?’ and he went from being like ‘the man’ to, ‘yeah’.”

Game of Thrones season 8 returns April 14 on HBO in the US, and the next day on Sky Atlantic in the UK.
