Captain Marvel: Brie Larson reveals her ‘SEVERE’ problem during filming

Next week sees the release of the highly anticipated first female-led MCU solo movie. Larson stars as Captain Marvel in her very own solo movie, before joining her fellow superheroes in Avengers Endgame. However, the 29-year-old actress has revealed she had a “severe” issue during filming with some of her co-stars. It turns out Larson was allergic to the four ginger cats who played Captain Marvel’s mog Goose.

Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, the Oscar-winner revealed: “I’m severely allergic.

“Not just kind of allergic — like, very, very allergic.

“It became this joke because the crew would watch me all day doing crazy stunts.

“I did that ropes course stunt 50 feet up in the air on the first week.”

Collider said: “Captain Marvel is a welcome addition to the MCU. The movie is really well done with some great moments.

“Ben Mendelsohn steals almost every scene he’s in. Brie Larson literally shines in the role. So ready for Avengers: Endgame.”

While ET wrote: “Captain Marvel is (takes a deep 90s breath) TOTALLY AWESOME. Never related to a Marvel character quite like Carol.”

Captain Marvel is released in UK cinemas on March 8, 2019.
