Fortnite Shop update: Final Season 7 items REVEALED ahead of Season 8

Season 7 of Fortnite Battle Royale began in December last year. Season 7 saw an iceberg collide with the island and cover some of the land with snow. And Fortnite Season 7 also included major changes, from the destruction of the Flush Factory and Greasy Grove to the introduction of Ziplines and the X-4 Stormwing.

Fortnite Season 7 ends tomorrow, February 28, making it the perfect opportunity to review everything made available with Season 7.

Season 7’s seminal weapon is the Infinity Blade, which triggered a rapturous response from Fortnite gamers.

The Infinity Blade could decimate both players and structures, in the process redefining the meaning of overpowered.

Fortnite developer Epic Games eventually removed the weapon from the game but the damage was already done.

When does Fortnite Season 8 start?

Many Fortnite fans believe Season 8 will begin on Thursday, February 28.

But this remains unconfirmed, and Season 8 could potentially start on Friday, March 1, although this seems unlikely.

March 1 is also the start of the $500,000 (£375,000) IEM Katowice Royale tournament, so it is unknown how this will impact the release of Season 8.

What will happen in Fortnite Season 8?

Season 7 saw the island hit by multiple earthquakes, leading some to speculate Season 8 will be impacted by them in some way.

But the first two Season 8 teasers have added weight to the theory that the next Season will feature an aquatic theme.

Although the connection between earthquakes and pirates references remains unclear, but another major change to the Fortnite map is anticipated.
