Jason Manford, 37, concerns fans with hospital bed picture after undergoing ‘procedure’

Jason Manford, 37, flashed a peace sign to the camera as he laid in a hospital bed. The comedian told his Facebook fans he had undergone a “little procedure” but didn’t elaborate on the details. He wrote: “Living the dream! All good. Little procedure. Will tell you about it on Absolute Radio on Sunday.” He went on to confirm that he will still be performing his stand-up routine in Barnstaple tomorrow.

Many of his fans flocked to the post to send their well wishes.

One user wrote: “Get well soon Jason. Hope you’re OK.”

Another commented: “Get well soon and hopefully see you tomorrow x.”

A third penned: “Wishing you a speedy recovery.”

Express.co.uk has contacted a representative for Jason Manford asking for comment.

The comedian also shared the picture in view of his 295,000 Twitter followers.

Jason is due to perform in Barnstaple tomorrow night, followed by Weston Super-Mare and Southend.

Back in July, the comedian rearranged a couple of his tour dates, telling fans he was “sorry for the inconvenience”.

He wrote: “I’ve had to rearrange a couple of tour dates.

“19th October at Portsmouth Guildhall will now be on 6th March.

“20th October at Southampton Guildhall will now be on 1st March.

“I really am sorry for the inconvenience, I know many of you had bought these tickets a while ago and had been looking forward to the show.

“On a huge tour like this one, with over 270 dates all in spread over 18 months, there is an occasional change, it’s just not nice when it happens to you. So I’m really sorry for that.

“I hope you can make the new dates and I’ll look forward to seeing you in March.

“All tickets remain valid for the new date. Please return to point of purchase if you prefer a refund.”
