Cristiano Ronaldo: Juventus star tells friends his stance on leaving for Man Utd transfer

Cristiano Ronaldo only joined Juventus from Real Madrid back in the summer but, just months on, has already been tipped to leave the Old Lady for a stunning Manchester United return.

Audacious reports in Spain claimed the 34-year-old was unhappy with life at Juventus.

And it was claimed that last week’s Champions League defeat to Atletico Madrid had forced the player to contemplate a Manchester United return.

However, Tuttosport claim the Portugal international has told his inner circle that “I’m fine here”, referring to Juventus, and has no plans to jump ship.

Back in the summer, United were linked with a move for their former No 7.

But Jose Mourinho never even contemplated bringing back the Portugal international.

United instead chose to sign Fred, Diogo Dalot and Lee Grant in a hugely underwhelming summer transfer window.

And Ronaldo headed to Juventus in a stunning £105million transfer.

Tuttosport say that Ronaldo is happy at Juventus despite going through a difficult time in Turin.

But any hopes of a United return seem well and truly over now.

Ronaldo was a huge git during his time at Old Trafford, flourishing under the guidance of Sir Alex Ferguson.

He arrived as David Beckham’s replacement from Sporting Lisbon in the summer of 2003.

And he left the club for Real Madrid six years later as a superstar of the game.

Ronaldo helped deliver three Premier League titles on the trot between 2007 and 2009.

And he also landed the club the 2008 Champions League crown.

Ronaldo scored against United when the two teams met in Europe earlier this season.

But the Red Devils emerged victorious that day with Jose Mourinho mocking Juventus fans in the aftermath.
