Charley Webb: Emmerdale’s Debbie Dingle sends fans wild with 'clue' about unborn baby

Emmerdale star Charley Webb, 31, is expecting her third child with husband and co-star Matthew Wolfenden, 38. Last week, she took to Twitter to give an update on her pregnancy, revealing the baby was a “wriggler”. In view of her 448,000 followers, she wrote: “This baby is a full on wriggler. “We’re definitely adding another crazy to the gang. It’s always when I get in bed as well, hey I’m here…”

Following her remark, many of her fans flocked to Twitter to gspeculate on the baby’s gender.

One user wrote: “I think you will be blessed with a girl this time.”

A second commented: “Yep it’s a little girl definitely.”

A third penned: “It’s definitely a girl!!!”

Earlier this month, Charley took to Instagram to reveal her and Matthew were expecting their third child.

She shared a picture of the couple, their two sons, Buster and Bowie, and their pet pooch outside in the snow.

Eight-year-old Buster held up a sign, which read: “Buster, Bowie and…” with the caption: “#number3.”

Charley and Mattew married in a secret ceremony in February last year, with many of their co-stars in attendance.

The duo had previously been engaged for nine years after getting together in 2007.

After typing the knot, Matthew candidly opened up on the possibility of having a third child.

He told OK! Magazine: “We’re not trying at the moment, but we’d like the age gap to be closer to our youngest and we’d quite like a girl.

“But we’ll see. My family are all boys and we’ve got two already.”

Elsewhere, Charley’s fiery alter ego Debbie returned to the village last night after she flew to Aberdeen for a job interview last week.

Amid her return last night she had an exchange with Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) with Debbie telling Kerry to keep Kyle away from Cain (Jeff Hordley).

The episode ended on a cliffhanger with Kerry puzzled by her remarks.

Official spoilers pictures have revealed Kerry will visit Debbie at her cottage to try and probe further into what she meant tonight.

Emmerdale continues tonight at 7pm on ITV.
