Roman Reigns return update: WWE megastar to kick off RAW with important health update

WWE announced that Reigns will come back to the flagship show to share an update on his battle with leukaemia four months after taking time off for treatment.

The WWE Universe was left in shock last October when Reigns announced that he was diagnosed with the terrible illness and relinquished the Universal Championship.

The four-time world champion also revealed that he first fought the horrible disease almost 11 years ago and after quickly putting it in remission the cancer unfortunately returned recently.

Fans have been anticipating the ex-WWE Champion’s return ever since the news about his comeback broke and it seems like they won’t have to wait too long during tonight’s show.

According to Ringside News, Reigns may kick off Monday Night RAW as part of the opening segment.

This, however, is subject to change because WWE often switch the order of their segments.

WrestleVotes report the former Universal Champion may have some good news to share about his health.

However, his imminent announcement is being kept under wraps from everyone.

WrestleVotes tweeted: “Big RAW tonight from ATL. The Flair angle has been in the works for weeks now, so it should come off well. As for Roman Reigns, I’m expecting positive news. I have a feeling which way his announcement is going, but it’s something “that’s being kept from nearly everyone.”.”

Reigns is confident he will beat leukaemia again and return stronger and better than ever.

The 33-year-old grappler is also determined to prove to the entire world that he can beat ever obstacle that life throws against him.

Reigns said: “After I’m done whooping leukaemia’s a*s once again, I’m coming back home.

“I want to show my family, my friends, my children and my wife that when life throws a curveball at me, I am the type of man that will stand in that batter’s box, I will crowd the plate, I will choke up and I will swing for the fences every single time!”

WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair may headline the show with his 70th birthday celebration.
