Russell Crowe: Oscar-winning actor looks unrecognisable on set of new TV show

Russell Crowe has been transformed in to Fox News CEO Roger Ailes for his latest acting role.

The Academy Award-winning actor was photographed on the set of his new TV series The Loudest Voice in the Room looking dramatically different for his portrayal of the American television executive who died in 2017.

The eight-part mini series is based on Gabriel Sherman’s bestselling book of the same name about the rise and fall of the former chairman.

The 54-year-old actor was pictured in a smart tuxedo with a balding head and glasses during a break from filming in New York.

Russell was seen scrolling through his phone on the steps of a Manhattan building where he has been shooting scenes.

The upcoming drama also stars Naomi Watts, 50, as TV star Gretchen Carlson and Seth MacFarlane, 45, as Brian Lewis.

British actress Sienna Miller, 37, who takes on the role of Roger’s wife Elizabeth Ailes was also spotted on set.

The Live by Night actress, who appeared to be wearing prosthetic make-up, wore her blonde hair in a traditional up ‘do and donned a sparkly evening dress as she unveiled her dramatic transformation.
