James DeGale will face off against Chris Eubank Jr at the O2 Arena tonight.

DeGale and Eubank Jr are facing off in an IBO super middleweight world title fight which has plenty riding on it.

DeGale has said he will retire if he loses while Eubank Jr said it is a “do or die” bout.

Speaking ahead of tonight’s fight, DeGale said: “I’m still hungry. Obviously I’m getting older. I can’t do what I was doing at 22.

“No 10-mile runs or 40 rounds of sparring a week. I’m training smarter now and honestly I feel great. I can honestly say that.

“Boxers say that when they’re preparing for a fight, but I can honestly say I’m feeling fantastic. And I intend to put on a boxing masterclass.”

While Eubank Jr said: “I have an amazing fan base. I also have an amazing amount of haters: believe who don’t believe, people who don’t want me to succeed.

“I don’t really mind having those people around.

“If anything it’s actually a good thing for me because it keeps me in the gym, keeps me working hard – knowing there are people out there who don’t want me to succeed.”
