Emmerdale cast: Maya Stepney star Louisa Clein’s alarming backstage revelation ‘No more’

Louisa Clein, who has played Emmerdale’s Maya Stepney since last year, spoke out in view of her 7,307 Instagram followers after she revealed she was gifted a personalised item behind-the-scenes. The 40-year-old took to Instagram and wrote: “No more unidentified tissues, dental floss picks, packets of crisps, pens or scripts. “I’ve got my own coat. With my name on it. Spelt right. The excitement is unparalleled,” followed by the hashtags: “#itsthelittlethings #thankyouwardrobe #emmerdale.” The actress seemingly appeared very grateful to have finally received her very own coat, with her fans joining in her excitement, as one person quipped: “Aah the trappings of success eh.”(sic)

Another person commented: “Ewwww someone else’s dental floss picks? Congrats on the coat and the safety it provides from that issue!”

A third person added: “Nothing better than your own!”

Elsewhere, she recently hit out after she found an error on her Wikipedia page and suggested everyone should not believe everything they read.

She shared a screenshot of the mistake as she circled it in red followed by two exclamation marks.

The sentence on the page read: “Louisa Miranda Clein aka Lilly Roberts (born c.1979 in Poole, Dorset) is an English actress.”

Louisa captioned the post: “Lily Roberts??!!!! It’s a lovely name but it’s not mine and it never has been.

“I’ve been called MANY things in my little life but this one is news to me!!! #dontbelieveeverythingyouread.”

Fans seemingly appeared to understand her frustration as one person suggested she go and edit the page herself, as they said: “You can edit this if you’re logged in I believe.”

Even her Emmerdale co-star Charley Webb echoed a similar sentiment, as she replied: “Everything on mine is wrong. Absolutely everything.”

Meanwhile, her character is currently embroiled in dangerous drama in The Dales as the schoolteacher has been grooming teenager Jacob Gallagher (played by Joe-Warren Plant).

Despite being in a relationship with boyfriend David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden), who is also Jacob’s biological father, the disturbing storyline will continue to shock viewers.

It seemingly appears things may step up a notch as she lures the young boy into the bedroom in scenes set to air next week.

The schoolteacher will suggest to the pair should take their “study session” upstairs to his bedroom.

But she may have a change of heart after she leads him into the bedroom.

The grooming story comes not long after Coronation Street also ran a high-profile grooming plot inv
