Carol Vorderman Twitter: Countdown star reacts after she is BLAMED for ruining marriage

Carol Vorderman, 57, asked her followers for 390,000 for advice on karaoke apps and was soon left startled by a Twitter user’s response. She wrote: “Tweety loveliest happy peeps……What’s the best karaoke app? “I’m rubbish at remembering lyrics but I never stop singing/burbling…..advice needed please.” A Twitter user named Joe replied: “It’s more fun singing what you think the lyrics are Carol”, which was liked by the TV host.

The Twitter user then informed Carol her liking his tweet had caused his marriage to be “on the rocks”.

He wrote: “I would just like to announce at this time that on account of Carol Vorders liking my tweet, my marriage is now officially on the rocks and I will be pursuing my new relationship with said televisual siren.”

She shared the tweet with her followers, commenting: “Daftie head”, with a shocked face emoji.

He responded: “And so it begins…” followed by a crying with laughter emoji.

The flippant Twitter exchange prompted many of her followers to share their thoughts.

One user commented: “Carol has already been cited in my divorce, I wonder how many more?”

A second user wrote: “Right back off you lot, Lady Vorders promised me first dibs.”

A third cheekily penned: “I’m still waiting.”

Twice-married Carol then updated her fans with her karaoke antics.

She tweeted: “Hilarious….Downloaded one of the karaoke apps you recommended…sang a couple of songs and played back the recording….

“I AM C**P….official….lolol.”

But despite her failed efforts, one user suggested she should audition for Simon Cowell.

He wrote: “Ideal candidate for Mr Cowell’s new show.”

But Carol ruled out such an opportunity, replying: “Uh or not.”

Meanwhile, Carol shocked her social media fans with a rude comment regarding her recent hair change earlier this week.

Carol unveiled her blonder locks with an odd choice of words, commenting: “Going blonde-ererer…..Thank you ⁦@JrHairBeauty⁩ for ’s******g me up’ #TechnicalTerm #Manchester.”

Many of her fans were baffled by the remark with one writing: “Well I’ve never heard that before?…. And I always thought it meant something else.”

A second wrote: “I am NOT going to ask my barber to ’s**g me up’.”
