Helen Skelton, who presented Blue Peter between 2010 and 2013, gave fans a glimpse of how she was spending Valentine’s Day with husband Richie Myler. The television favourite was seen in just a bikini in a picture shared with her 111,000 Instagram followers. Wearing her blonde tresses up in a casual top knot, the 35-year-old’s incredible figure was impossible to miss as she made the most of her time at a spa. However, just hours earlier, she had suffered a major mishap, which had left her face “swollen and cut”.
The upload saw Helen standing in a sauna starring out at an idyllic swimming pool view, while no one else could be seen.
Keeping her face out of view, the mother-of-two showed off her pert bottom in a dark two-piece, complete with halterneck design.
She captioned it: “So this is what all those ‘home offices’ really are…

Helen received a number of complimentary comments, with one user simply telling her: “Nice.”
A second went on: “Looking in great shape… what’s the next challenge?” as she prepares to take on the London Marathon.
Helen also shared a snapshot of her spouse, who she wed back in 2013, in the exact same spot.
“My Valentine… (not a fan of posing for me),” she had stated.
Meanwhile, prior to her scantily-clad offering, Helen had gushed about Richie, 28, while sharing a photo of him and their youngest child.
She wrote: “Happy valentine Mr M @richiemyler! Thanks for pretending you liked the spa afternoon I treat us too…”(sic)
Helen went on: “Let’s be honest, luxury spas are not the first pick of alpha males from Widnes. Not sure he likes walking around with strangers in a robe…
“Tried to take a selfie in said spa but I dropped my phone on my face and my nose is swollen and cut. True story.”

Prior to some R&R, Helen shared a number of videos as she stated that “Yorkshire with these mornings – you are spoiling us”.
She then added: “We have cracked 10 miles guys… slow as a snail but it’s in the bag.
