Carol Vorderman, 58, co-presented show How 2 between 1990 and 1996 alongside Fred Dinenage, 76.
And on Twitter this week, the Countdown legend reminisced about their time together on the ITV programme, where she said they’d had “many laughs”.
Carol spoke out in response to his daughter, Caroline, who paid tribute to her dad’s 55 years in the industry.
Alongside a snap of her and her dad Fred, Caroline wrote: “Congratulations to my amazing dad @freddinenageITV who’s celebrating 55 years in telly today, a total pro and the worlds best papa.
“(And to my mum, the strength behind all of us!).”
Her message revoked happy memories from Carol who admitted she “still loves” the TV star.
The age-defying beauty replied: “I still love your Dad… we had so many laughs over about 10 years on How 2.
“Send him a hug from Vorders please x.”
Caroline responded: “Will do! X.”
Meanwhile, Carol showed off her new hairdo on Wednesday after revealing she’s gone lighter.
The TV favourite uploaded images of herself showing off her newly-dyed locks to her Twitter account.
In the photos, Carol also displayed her hourglass curves in a striped red, white and black dress.
Posing with one hand on her hip, the Countdown legend appeared confident as she took a picture of herself in the mirror.
She wrote beside the photos: “Going blonde-ererer…
“Thank you @JrHairBeauty for ’s******g me up’ #TechnicalTerm #Manchester.”(sic)
As well as praising her blonde tresses, Carol’s followers were also stunned with her choice of words.
One person wrote: “’S******g you up’ is this some new terminology I’ve not heard of?! X.”
Another commented: “S******g you up? Interesting verb choice there.”
While a third fan gushed: “@carolvorders looking fabulous as always, you’re so funny my type of wickedness.”
