Carmen Argenziano dead: How did Carmen Argenziano die, what was cause of death?

TMZ has reported that actor Carmen Argenziano, known for his starring role in Fox’s Booker and recurring role on the science fiction TV series Stargate SG-1, died on Sunday. His career spanned more than five decades and saw him star in Columbo, The Rockford Files, LA Law and House among others. His movie career included roles in Godfather II, Broken Arrow and Angels and Demons.

Mr Argenziano has been credited with more than 220 roles in TV shows and film.

Co-stars and friends took to Twitter to post tributes to the seasoned actor.

David Banks, who worked with Argenziano on Preacher Six, tweeted, “We lost an amazing man today.

“I have never worked with such a loving actor who truly made the world a better place.”

Mr Argenziano’s Stargate co-star Amanda Tapping tweeted: “Devastated at the loss of a remarkable man.

“The kind of person who leaves a fingerprint on your heart. #RIP Sweet Carmen. May flights of angels carry you on.”

Soap opera star Robin Strasser tweeted: “I hope his passage was filled with Grace.

“I feel privileged to have known him-We studied with #MiltonKatselas at the same time. He was dedicated to his work – he had a distinct but humble elegance RIP.”

What was the cause of Carmen Argenziano’s death?

As of yet, no cause of death has been released.

Mr Argenziano is survived by his wife, Lisa, and his three children.

Event Horizon Talent, who represented the star, released a heartfelt statement confirming the news on Facebook.

They wrote: “It is with a heavy heart and more sadness than anyone can realize right now that I announce the passing of client Carmen Argenziano at the age of 75.

“While Carmen was a client, he was also a good friend. While he was a class act and a consummate gentleman at the events he was booked for, he was also a caring and generous person.

“While I had known him for more than a decade, it wasn’t until the past three years as a representative for him that our trust and friendship grew and blossomed.

“He truly treated me like family, and that sentiment was returned.

“Please join me in sending thoughts and prayers to Carmen’s family and loved ones during this difficult time. Godspeed, my friend.”
