Teams are out

16.40: The teams are out on the pitch in Rome.

National anthems being sung, and we are just moments away from kick-off.

Will Italy upset the odds and get their first win in the Six Nations in four years? Or will it be a stroll in the park for the Welsh?

It may be neither, but stay with us as we find out.

Eleven heaven?

16.30: Wales are looking for their 11th win in a row.

And coach Warren Gatland praised his troops after their victory over France last week.

“For me, the big difference between the two teams is that we’ve become a side that has probably forgotten how to lose and can dig deep like that,” he said.

They’re favourites to keep their run going and pile the pressure on England, who host France tomorrow.

Parisse hopeful

16.10: Italy captain Sergio Parisse believes his side can win their first Six Nations game in four years.

They were 33-3 down against Scotland before coming back in the final ten minutes.

Parisse said: “I am really confident because I have seen a lot of great work from the team during training in the week.

“We go into the game with belief, and we are playing with confidence. But the most important thing is the whole 80 minutes against a big, big side in Wales who are fourth in the world.”
