Coronation Street viewers are currently enthralled by the court case involving Johnny Connor (played by Richard Hawley) and his wife Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews).
And it was supposed to all come to a head last night as Liz McDonald (Beverley Callard) was set to arrive in the courtroom and announce some key evidence.
However, at the last second Liz decided to leave Weatherfield and hop on a plane.
But as viewers saw her jumping on an aircraft to sunny Spain, they began noticing something strange about the vehicle.
The plane Liz was on looked to be quite dated and rocked a look which could have hailed from decades ago.
And viewers were extremely quick in pointing out the plane did not look exactly modern – nor safe.
On Twitter, one fan wrote: “Why is Liz on a plane from the 90’s?? @itvcorrie #Coronationstreet.”
Another said: “Um… there are flip-top ashtrays in the armrests on Liz’s plane.
“Has she fallen into a time warp? Perhaps she’ll meet Don Draper from #MadMen on the flight and they’ll have a fling. #coronationstreet #corrie.”
“Thought Liz was travelling on a Classic Corrie plane from the 90s #Corrie,” added a third.
While another exclaimed: “I AM NOT CONVINCED THAT THE PLANE IS CAPABLE OF ACTUAL FLIGHT #corrie.”
One viewer even accused Liz of travelling through time, saying: “Liz has not only travelled to the airport but she’s travelled back in time 30 years!
“Where is that plane from?! The 80’s? #Corrie.”
Meanwhile Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) is having a tough time of his own at home.
After his wife Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) left Weatherfield to accompany their daughter Hope in her special school, Tyrone has been struggling to cope alone.
But Fiz’s absence is going to leave a window open for Mary (Patti Clare) to move in on the new bachelor.
As the pressure surrounding Tyrone grows, Mary decides to step in and help him out.
But as Mary gets closer to Tyrone, could a brand new and unexpected relationship begin to blossom?
And if so, could Tyrone leave Fiz for his new fling?
