When Andrea Somers (played by Madeleine West) first appeared on Channel 5’s Neighbours, she conned Toadie (Ryan Maloney) into thinking she was his dead wife Dee Bliss (Madeleine West).
Fans have seen Toadie try and get his life back on track with wife Sonya (Eve Morey) and child Hugo, who he had with Andrea when the two took a trip to London.
Whilst previous scenes have showed Andrea still claim she was Dee, Toadie and Sonya paid for the troubled character to be given treatment in a psychiatric unit.
But it seems the medical intervention hasn’t had the desired effect.
Actress Eve, who stars as Sonya, has hinted her character is going to have an almighty showdown with Andrea.
Official Neighbours spoilers reveal Sonya will sneak off and visit Andrea in hopsital, with the intent of talking her round to the idea of Toadie having full custody of Hugo.
As recently revealed, Sonya will share her tragic cancer diagnosis with Andrea in the hope she can persuade the her to reconsider.
Surprisingly, her plan works and Andrea agrees to back off, but when she gets home Sonya replays the conversation they shared and realised Andrea made an unusual comment – but what did she say?
During a conversation with Digital Spy, Eve discussed what her character was riled up about.
“I don’t know what I can say! It’s something that I’m glad I’m not going to have to deal with, as I’ll be out!” she explained.
“Unfortunately it’s like, ‘I love you Toadie, but you’ve got a whole world of high-soap pain coming your way. You think this is bad?’
“But that’s all I can say…”
Fans already know Sonya is going to die from cancer, but what was actress Eve hinting at in relation to Andrea and Toadie?
Will there be more heartbreak for the fan-favourite after losing his wife?
Madeleine, who plays Andrea/Dee is back filming with the Australian soap later this spring.
She is due back on set in March and told Radio Times last December: “Jason [Herbison, Neighbours producer] has lured me back in next year with a fantastic storyline that I think is going to be the best in Neighbours’ history.
“I’m putting it out there, I really don’t think I’m pushing it saying that. And I’m not telling you anything about it!”
Elsewhere in Ramsey Street, Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou) decides to call her relationship with Leo Tanaka (Tim Kano) time.
After giving him another chance, she realises her heart belongs to Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis).
During an exclusive conversation with Express.co.uk, Rebekah explained her character’s contradicting feelings.
“That whole ‘Paul Terese’ thing is there’s always that underlying attraction and powerplay and love and attraction that’s always there between the two of them,” she began.
“She just goes ‘Nah, can’t do this’ and then finally giving into her attraction to Paul.”
Neighbours airs at 1.45pm and then again at 5.30pm on Channel 5.
