Google Home price cut is good but this new deal makes Amazon Echo rival even cheaper

Google Home Mini is the American tech giant’s smallest and most affordable smart speaker.

While the product certainly lacks the audio punch of its more premium brothers, the standard Google Home and Google Home Max, it does come with the same built-in Assistant functionality.

This means owners of the product are able to ask it a swathe of questions and command it to perform a manner of tasks.

Google Home Mini is currently being sold at a discounted price of £29 on the American tech giant’s online store in addition to a number of other UK retailers.

The hardware is available in chalk, charcoal, coral and aqua finishes.

Although the saving is small, it is certainly worth taking advantage of for those looking to kit out their home with more than one smart device at once.

The lowered price of the Google Home Mini is made all the more tempting by the fact its biggest rival, the Amazon Echo Dot, is still out of stock.

Although Amazon’s smallest smart speaker is currently on sale for £29.99, it will not be available until March 6 at the earliest.
