Piers Morgan: GMB host SCOLDED by Andy Murray after op ‘Stop discussing my genitals’

Piers Morgan, 53, and Susanna Reid, 48, spoke about Andy Murray’s X-ray snap today, which the Wimbledon champion posted to his Instagram snap after undergoing hip surgery yesterday.

Fans are convinced they can see his penis in the upload and the Good Morning Britain presenters couldn’t stop laughing about it.

Addressing Andy’s snap, Piers said: “I think he revealed his X-ray picture which did actually reveal he had a massive stick.

“He literally posted his X-ray and he forgot it covers a bit more of his body than he realised. And he put it up there and everyone was like, ‘Wow’.”

Minutes later, Piers said Andy, 31, has been watching the show and texted to ask him to stop talking about his “genitals”.

Susanna stepped in to stop the outspoken journalist from repeating the text and interrupted: “That’s not a broadcastable message!”

Laughing hysterically, Piers went on to read out what Andy sent in: “He said, ‘Please can you stop discussing my genitals on national TV, I was heavily medicated at the time of posting’.”

The ITV host appeared to have some sympathy for Andy sharing the upload whilst under medication as he also posted a hospital snap when he was ill earlier this month.

“This is my point, he’s clearly sedated,” Piers said.

“The point is I totally feel for him. I’m with you Andy, I had the same thing!”

He continued: “We are unwitting victims of our own phone addictions on Instagram. He did that when he was medicated and sedated, he had no idea what he was doing!”

Yesterday, Andy uploaded a photo of himself lying in a hospital bed after undergoing hip surgery.

The tennis player appeared in good spirits as he smiled to the camera in the snap.

He also posted an X-ray of his new metal hip, which caught the attention of his 1.6 million followers.

Andy captioned the upload: “I underwent a hip resurfacing surgery in London yesterday morning… feeling a bit battered and bruised just now but hopefully that will be the end of my hip pain.

“I now have a metal hip as you can see in the 2nd photo and I look like I’ve got a bit of a gut in photo 1.”

His fans shared many comments pointing out something else on his X-ray with one person writing: “I can’t read X-rays but I can certainly identify one bone in this one.”

“Since when do people have three legs,” joked another.

A third cheeky fan commented: “This X-ray is just not about bones Andy.”

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV at 6am.
