Gordon Strachan reveals what Jurgen Klopp is really like on training ground – I saw THIS

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp spent seven years as Borussia Dortmund boss from 2008 until 2015.

And ex-Scotland manager Strachan has claimed that he saw Klopp raising his voice at players during a training session in Germany – in the wake of the Neil Lennon incident at Hibs.

Lennon has been suspended as Hibernian boss after a disagreement with players, but Strachan believes that other managers treat players in similar ways.

Lennon however is likely to be sacked and Strachan is even among those being touted as a potential replacement.

“Neil Lennon was sacked for raising his voice, just like Klopp and [Antonio] Conte do, and Fergie [Sir Alex Ferguson] did,” Strachan told Paddy Power news.

“I watched Jurgen Klopp training in Dortmund, and saw him speaking in more than a loud voice to superstars.

“It seems like someone has got sacked for raising their voice and telling a player straight.

“For doing something you see in any business. You’ll hear voices raised in offices across the country. It’s nothing.”

Hibs are currently seventh in the Scottish Premiership table, and are already searching for Lennon’s replacement.

Strachan thinks that altercations like the one between Lennon and his players are commonplace at all levels of football.

He said: “You only hear about these incidents when things aren’t going well.

“You can’t push anyone anymore. It was the same for me in my career with Sir Alex Ferguson – he pushed us to new levels and got the best out of us.

“I think it’s only a problem if the players themselves aren’t playing well, or if the team is losing.

“People who are successful talk about managers who drive them to the top, getting the most out of them.

“The ones that fail are the ones who say they got bullied. There’s a correlation between allegations of bullying and failure.

“I rarely see people who are successful and winning things come out and say they’re being bullied.”
