Chris Evans: Virgin Radio Breakfast Show host's surprising revelation about wife Natasha

The 52-year-old radio presenter, who recently moved from BBC Radio 2 to Virgin Radio, has been married to his third wife Natasha Shishmanian, 38, since 2007. The couple have four children together, sons Noah, nine, Eli, six, and twins Walt and Boo, who were born in September. On this morning’s Breakfast Show, Chris Evans and his co-star Vassos Alexander got talking about tattoos when the sports reporter revealed his plans to get one. “I’ve just realised my wife has a tattoo,” the DJ exclaimed, sounding surprised. “I haven’t just realised that bit,” he clarified. “But it’s a Chinese symbol and I’ve never asked her what it means.”

“What?!” Vassos asked, incredulous.

“I’m not sure I want to!” Chris laughed, as Vassos pressed: “You’ve never asked?!”

“No, I’ve never asked, it never occurred to me,” the Virgin Radio Breakfast Show host insisted.

“I don’t know! I don’t know why I’ve never asked that,” he laughed.

“The fact I’ve never asked that is more worrying to me, in my own psyche, than what it says,” he added.

“I mean, that is always worrying, but more worrying is the first bit.”

“10 times more worrying,” Vassos agreed, at which point Chris quipped: “Alright! You don’t have to quantify it.”

Chris’ wife Natasha and their infant twins joined him last week when he took control of the mic at Virgin Radio for his first show.

At the end of the broadcast, the couple left with their two youngest in a double pram.

They were snapped sharing a cuddle as Natasha celebrated her husband’s successful move, beaming for photographers outside the studio in London.

Chris’ previous position at the helm on BBC Radio 2’s Breakfast Show, which he held for eight years, has been filled by Zoe Ball, 48.

She is the first woman to host the show.

Last year, Chris and Natasha confirmed the arrival of the twins in a statement, saying: “Ping and Pong arrived safe and well last night. Ping popped her head out at 22.10, Pong popped his head out 12 minutes later at 22 minutes past 10.

“Both healthy, both strong, happy and blessed, as was mum throughout.

“infinite thanks to the amazing team at Frimley Park Hospital, amazing people, amazing professionals, helping dreams come true,” it said. “Thank you.”

Chris Evans’ Breakfast Show airs weekdays at 6.30am on Virgin Radio.
