Ozzy Osbourne’s team confirmed the news this morning, which sees three of his 3Arena 2019 concerts with Judas Priest postponed.

It is believed the gigs in Dublin, Nottingham, Manchester and Newcastle have all been postponed until a later date.

A statement issued by Irish promoters MCD this morning read: “Ozzy Osbourne’s upcoming 3Arena date this Wednesday is postponed due to illness.

“Details for the rescheduled date will be announced within the next 48 hours on www.mcd.ie and www.ticketmaster.ie . All tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled date.”

Meanwhile, Judas Priest wrote on Twitter in view of their 103,000 followers and their own website: “It is with great regret we have to announce that the first four UK shows on the Ozzy Osbourne/Judas Priest tour have been postponed due to Ozzy having a very bad case of flu.

“Therefore Dublin, Nottingham, Manchester and Newcastle will be rescheduled at a later date – details to follow once finalised.”

They continued: “We are very sorry that this has happened and to disappoint so many fans – we wish Ozzy well and look forward to the Glasgow, Birmingham and London shows together – and to the rescheduled ones in the future.”

Two days ago, Ozzy took to his Twitter account to give his 5.27 millions an update on his health.

The star, who is married to Sharon Osbourne, revealed he had burst a blood vessel in his eye from coughing.

Ozzy uploaded a picture of his eye along with the caption: “Coughed so hard I burst a blood vessel in my eye.”

Back in October, Ozzy was hospitalised with an infection and had surgery on his hand.

The singer spent a couple of days at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles where he remained under the care of doctors.

Ozzy was forced to cancel more gigs in the United States as a result of his hospitalisation.

Four days after his initial Instagram post, the former Black Sabbath frontman shared another to give an update which said he was likely to require more surgery to “treat multiple infections on his right hand”.
