Leonardo Jardim’s return to AS Monaco is due to be made official today, according to RMC.
Yesterday I saw a suggestion that, even while out of work, Jardim still sees many of the Monaco players when he pops out to buy his (presumably diamond-encrusted) croissants every morning, so they won’t need to spend much time catching up.

You might not know it because it’s all but impossible to find on TV in the UK, but the Asian Cup is currently happening. It’s at the quarter-final stage and there are two games coming up today: South Korea v Qatar and UAE v Australia. If I can catch sight or sound of either, I’ll keep you in the loop about how they’re going. By all means send some thoughts about this shortsightedly blackouted competition, too. It’ll educate us!
