Amal Clooney: George Clooney's wife 'left their home in explosive row' – truth REVEALED

According to US gossip site Radar Online, a source claimed: “He [George] wanted them to enjoy the new property together, but after an explosive argument she ran off there with Alexander and Ella.” The insider also alleged George, 57, had bombarded Amal, 40, with texts to see the twins. They added: “She’s told him if he comes, he’ll have to stay in the guest house!” George has shut down the claims, telling Hollywood Life: “The story is made up.”

Express.co.uk has contacted a representative for George and Amal for comment.

George and Amal were last pictured publicly together at the 23rd Annual United Nations Correspondents Associations Awards in New York back in December.

The duo walked hand-in-hand and beamed for the cameras, with George’s parents Nick and Nina also in attendance.

At the award show, Amal, who is a Human Rights lawyer, accepted the UNCA Global Citizen of the Year Award.

Within her speech, she honoured her father-in-law for his “groundbreaking reporting”.

She told US journalist Nick: “I am here tonight to honour you, the journalists being recognised for your groundbreaking reporting this year.

“It feels like an important, even essential, time.”

She then reportedly went on to speak about President Trump, adding: “In many of the cases I have worked on, too, I have seen journalists and opposition figures ruthlessly targeted so that they can no longer criticise leaders.”

Back in June, Amal gushed over her “gentleman” spouse at the AFI Life Achievement Award ceremony.

She went on to say discuss the generous things he had done for others and claimed he had given 13 of his friends a million dollars each.

Amal said: “Here are a few things you may not know about George.

“First, he is a gentleman, he is a gentleman in every sense of the word and in a way that seems so rare these days, perhaps even outdated.”

She added: “He’ll visit an old lady at our local nursing home if he thinks it’ll make her day.

“He has a big heart and he puts it into everything that he does.

“He must be the only person in the world who invited his 13 closest friends to dinner one night and gave them a suitcase of one million dollars in cash.”

Amal then joked: “It must be said that the fourteenth closest friend is still really upset about that one.”
