Piers Morgan: Good Morning Britain host makes shock remark about Susanna Reid's underwear

Susanna Reid was grilled on what type of drawers her Good Morning Britain co-star Piers Morgan wears during a recent interview.

“I would never, ever think about it,” the 48-year-old declared. “I don’t have a clue.”

But Piers, 53, was having none of it and responded: “You’ve never thought what underwear I wear? Rubbish.”

Revealing what type of underwear he thought Susanna wore, he added: “I imagine Susanna is into quite expensive lingerie.”

“It’s Marks & Spencer, thank you very much,” Susanna said in an interview with The Sun.

“There’s no way Steve [Parish – Susanna’s boyfriend] buys you M&S underwear,” the father-of-four disputed.

“I reckon it’s been upgraded to Agent Provocateur.”

Last night, the twosome attended the National Television Awards at The 02 arena in Greenwich with the Good Morning Britain team.

For the night celebrating talent in the television industry, Susanna sported a sparkling gown, which fell to her feet.

The stunning frock featured a daring keyhole cut-out in the centre of her chest to reveal a generous amount of cleavage.

Also, the metallic garment clung to her figure, highlighting her incredible weight loss, as well as her womanly curves.

Smiling as she posed for the paparazzi, the mother-of-three looked thrilled to be at the event in London.

Her natural beauty was accentuated with lashings of mascara, winged eyeliner and a slick of crimson lipstick.

Susanna’s pout perfectly matched her manicured nails and her brunette tresses were worn down in tousled waves.

Meanwhile, Piers donned a black two-piece suit, which he paired with a crisp white shirt, slim tie and dark shoes.

On the night, the journalist seemed disappointed after Good Morning Britain lost the award for Best Daytime Show to This Morning.

When Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby’s ITV show was announced as the winner, Piers was spotted pulling a miserable face.

But then he burst out laughing and went to shake their hands as they made their way to the stage to collect their trophy.

However, he later took to Twitter following the loss and appeared a little annoyed about missing out on the prize.

He wrote: “I demand a second vote… the British public didn’t know what they were doing when they voted.”
