Shirley Ballas: Inside Strictly Come Dancing judge’s incredible £1.6 million LA home

Shirley Ballas, 58, is an English ballroom dancer, dance teacher, and dance adjudicator. Originally from Wallasey, Cheshire, the dancer forged a successful dancing career, scooping several championship titles. Dubbed the Queen of Latin, in 2017, she became the head judge on Strictly Come Dancing. The star spends her life between London and LA – with the latter being the home to her stunning California property.

According to Heightline.com, Shirley has an estimated net worth of $5million, which is around £3,881,000.

And, according to reports, the judges are said to earn between £150,000 and £250,000 for their appearance in each series.

So, it may come as no surprise that Shirley can afford a pretty impressive home in sunnier climes.

This expansive pad, which comes complete with a swimming pool, is said to be worth £1.6 million, according to The Sun.

A glimpse at this stunning home has now been unveiled, thanks to the ITV show Through the Keyhole.

In last night’s episode of the programme, hosted by Keith Lemon, viewers got to see some of the most intimate parts of her property.

The tour began outside of the home: a grey panelled bungalow which is surrounded by flowers and plants.

Inside two striking wooden front doors, is a pale-toned hallway, which has been decorated with ornate statues and a large mirror.

The cream and pale brown wood theme carries through to the living room.

In this space, Shirley has a number of sofas and a light great chair – as well as a number of coffee tables.

This light and airy space, which has wooden beams overhead, features a huge wall-mounted TV, as well as a number of statue and photo frames.

The Strictly Come Dancing judge also let fans take a look at what’s presumably one of a number of bedrooms – which also fit the cream theme.

And, after taking a look at her large dressing room, viewers got to see her kitchen.

Surprisingly, Shirley has added for a rather vibrant pop of colour in this room, via her utensils.

Unlike the rest of the American pad, in this room, the TV regular has opted for bright pink pans, salt and pepper grinders, and even attention-commanding handles to her other-wise metallic oven.

Outdoors, Shirley gets to enjoy a large swimming pool, nestled amongst some trees.

And, should she wish to dine al fresco, there’s also plenty of seating areas for her to sit too.
