Avengers Endgame: ‘Fans be CAREFUL what you wish for, Marvel might just KNOCK you out’

Yesterday the Spider-Man Far From Home trailer was released, with some Marvel fans being confused as to how it’s set after Avengers Endgame. After all, Peter Parker and Nick Fury died in Avengers Infinity War and there’s no sign of Tony Stark – who is alive in Endgame – in Far From From. Some fans feel the trailer for the new Spider-Man movie is a big spoiler for Avengers Endgame, but one insider with Marvel sources has warned fans that they might get knocked out by the consequences of the Iron Man-led epic. MCU Cosmic’s Jeremy Conrad tweeted: “There are people who say that Spider-Man being alive after Endgame lessens the stakes of Infinity War.”

He added: “They also don’t want to be spoiled for what happens in Endgame.

“But if they want consequences, they need to be careful what they wish for. Marvel might just knock them out.”

The tweet was accompanied by a GIF of Thanos smacking Iron Man to the ground. during their fight on Titan.

In a further tweet, Conrad said: “There is a very specific reason why #SpiderManFarFromHome is set after #AvengersEndgame.”

Speaking with Variety last year, Anthony Russo said: “I will say this: There is a real commitment on our end to the stakes.

“Yes, this is a fantasy world, and yes, remarkable things can happen in a fantasy world, but…”

Joe finished for him: “They come at an incredibly high cost.”

Avengers Endgame is released in UK cinemas on April 26 and Spider-Man Far From Home will follow on July 5.
