Maisie Williams: Game of Thrones star looks world's apart from Arya Stark with neon locks

Maisie Williams could not have been more different from her Game of Thrones character Arya Stark during an outing in Paris.

The 21-year-old actress looked super stylish in a bright denim jacket, which she paired with fitted jeans.

She rounded off the look with a pair of multi-coloured trainers and carried a designer side bag across her shoulder.

Her outfit was complete with a few pieces of gold jewellery and she wore her bubblegum pink locks in tousled waves.

Maisie first debuted her new hair ‘do last November, but showed off the edgy look in France after the Heron Preston fashion show.

The TV star’s appearance comes after HBO revealed the release date for Game of Thrones’ eighth and final season.

Season eight will begin next month, with the first of six feature-length episodes premiering Sunday, April 14.

Maisie will appear in the show as her character Arya and starred in the latest trailer with actors Kit Harrington and Sophie Turner.

The teaser clip opens with lead character Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) walking through the chambers that lie beneath Winterfell.

Over the top, a quote Jon’s mother Lyanna Stark (Aisling Franciosi) told her brother Ned Stark (Sean Bean) after Jon’s birth can be heard: “You have to protect him.”

After, Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) is seen making her way through the same chambers as her brother.

As she stares at the statue of her mother, the voice of Catelyn Stark (Michelle Fairley) is then heard whispering to her.

The voice says: “All this horror that’s come to this family, is all because I couldn’t love a motherless child”.

Then, Arya Stark joins her sister under Winterfell – with all the surviving Stark family members reuniting.

The trailer then cuts back to Jon Snow, who is staring at the statue of, who he thinks is, his father Ned.

“You are a Stark. You might not have my name, but you have my blood,” Sean Bean’s character says over the footage.

Shortly after the trio congregate together and are faced with three crypts, each one modelling each character.

In another sequence, Sansa, Jon, and Arya each stare at their respective statue in the face, perhaps hinting at the doomed fate of all three.

As the high tempo music builds, Jon’s torch is blown out by a cold breeze, signifying the arrival of the White Walkers.

Game of Thrones season 8 premieres on Sunday, April 14 on HBO and Monday, April 15, on Sky Atlantic in the UK.
