Andrew Luck shocks Colts fans with what he did after Chiefs loss – you have to see this

Luck threw one touchdown pass against the Chiefs, as the star put in a lacklustre performance in his season finale.

The 29-year-old threw for 203 yards in Kansas, but was outshone by Chiefs’ QB Patrick Mahomes, who showed off an impressive arm and rushing ability.

The Chiefs are now one game away from booking a place in Super Bowl, while for the Colts, their season is over.

However, in footage recorded by WISH-TV Sports Director Anthony Calhourn, Luck was seen jogging down the tunnel ahead of his team-mates once the game had ended.

Luck then turned to wait for his team-mates, and encouraged each of them individually after the disappointing loss.

And speaking to press after the game, the quarterback showed his class by reflecting positively on the season.

“It’s been a rewarding season in many ways,” he said.

“This isn’t the ending that any of us wanted.

“We wanted to go 1-0 this week and continue on this journey.

“I’m very thankful I could play football.

“I’m thankful to be in the locker room, run on the field and throw it to my friends.

“It was a rewarding season, a fulfilling.

“I think I improved as a quarterback, very much so, and I know I have a lot of improving to do.”

The Colts went on an early-season slump which saw their record fall to 1-5, and they looked unlikely to make the post-season.

However, they recovered to finish with a 10-6 regular season record, and will be a tough team to beat next season.
