For Harry Potter fans, JK Rowling’s wizarding world hasn’t finished revealing its secrets just yet, as the world of spells, potions, dark wizards and magical beasts is continuing with Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. There are reported to be three more Fantastic Beasts films in the works, each delving even deeper into the wizarding world. The second instalment was released in November and stars Johnny Depp, Jude Law, Eddie Redmayne and Zoe Kravitz.

How to watch the FULL movie online? Is it legal to stream?

Unfortunately for those wishing to catch Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald at home, streaming the movie is illegal.

Any site purporting to have Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald available to stream is likely illegal, to be forewarned.

The release date for DVD, Blu Ray or streaming on sites like Netflix, Sky or Amazon has not yet been announced, but you can pre-order the DVD on Amazon.

There are standard DVD, Blu-Ray, 3D and 4K options available when you order.

When Fantastic Beasts 2 is released to buy, there may well be an option to purchase the film digitally.

Should it appear on sites such as Netflix, Sky or Amazon after its home release, you would have to be subscribed monthly to these sites to watch it.

Reviews for the film praise the “vibrantly drawn” characters and commend Jude Law for his portrayal of a young Dumbledore.

Fantastic Beasts screenplay writer and Harry Potter author JK Rowling is also praised for her “awe-inspiring” imagination.

Total Film rate The Crimes of Grindelwald five stars and attribute this both to JK Rowling and director David Yates saying: “Rowling’s universe just got bigger and more complex, but Yates never forgets to sprinkle stardust on top.”

Set in the 1920s, the Fantastic Beasts franchise explores the wizarding world before Voldemort and Harry Potter’s time.

A young Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) enlists Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) to defeat Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) in his plan to see wizards rule over non-magic beings.

Newt enlists his magical creatures and close friends to take on the evil wizard in the second Fantastic Beasts installment.

The Harry Potter books detailed Grindelwald’s ascent as a dark time for the wizarding world – similar to the rise of Lord Voldemort.

So, things for Newt, Dumbledore and those on the side of good may get dangerous.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald will be in cinemas from Friday, November 16.
