Kelly Brook weight loss: Why did star decide to lose 15lbs? REAL reason revealed

From health to confidence, there are countless reasons why people may wish to lose weight. And, during an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk, TV presenter and model Kelly Brook has now revealed what prompted her to kickstart her own slimming regime. Since beginning her weight loss journey in September this year, the 39-year-old has lost 15 pounds in weight and dropped two dress sizes. It came as Kelly was revealed as the new ambassador for the weight management brand SlimFast.

Opening up about her recent weight loss, the This Morning reporter revealed that she had found herself overeating, something which she had been doing for a “long time”.

She said: “I was just piling on the pounds gradually to the point where I got to the top end of my BMI.

“I found that SlimFast approached me at the right time that I was just thinking, ‘I’m going to be hitting 40 soon, I need to start maybe watching what I eat.

“It just really helped me get back on track,” she continued, before adding: “I feel amazing.”

Kelly went on to recall how she and her boyfriend Jeremy Parisi had found themselves tucking into large helpings of food.

“I feel like it’s just what I needed at this point in my life, because I met my boyfriend. He loves to eat,” she told Express.co.uk.

Kelly went on to discuss how finding happiness had led the duo to have “too much fun”.

She divulged: “We were just having too much fun making big meals and overeating as you do when you’re in a comfortable relationship, and it just got out of hand.

“So I thought, ‘Right I can’t be like that, I need to get back into my old jeans.’”

Kelly has credited the new SlimFast Advanced Vitality 4 in 1 Action sachets for helping her to ditch her overeating habits.

What’s more, she overhauled her typical diet too – ditching high-calorie meals for a healthier salad.
