Brock Lesnar vs Braun Strowman: Who will win the WWE megamatch at the Royal Rumble?

According to Ringside News, Joe Peisich of Barnburner’s No Holds Barred podcast claims Vince McMahon’s promotion hasn’t determined the winner of the match between Universal Champion Lesnar and Strowman.

Peisich said: “Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman, you saw the confrontation on RAW tonight.

“They don’t know what direction they’re going to yet.

“Could Braun Strowman win the title or could Brock Lesnar keep the title heading into WrestleMania?

“They don’t know what direction they’re going into yet.

“So a lot of things are up in the air with WrestleMania and with the Royal Rumble and with WWE.”

Lesnar became the first ever two-time Universal Champion at WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia last November.

The Beast defeated Strowman in what should have been a Triple Threat Match involving Roman Reigns.

Reigns, however, relinquished the Universal Championship last October after being diagnosed with leukaemia.

Strowman had been demanding a rematch ever since his loss at Crown Jewel and became the No1 Contender after defeating Baron Corbin in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match at TLC.

The Monster Among Men hasn’t been very active in the ring lately as he recently underwent elbow surgery.

However, it seems like he will be fighting fit in time for the Royal Rumble, which takes place on January 27 at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona.

This match will determine a lot ahead of WrestleMania 35, which takes place on April 7 at the MetLife Stadium in New York.

Lesnar’s status with the company is yet unclear as rumours suggest he may return to UFC for a Heavyweight Championship Match against Daniel Cormier.

Strowman’s WrestleMania hopes will also be up in the air if he doesn’t manage to dethrone The Conqueror.
